We receive patients as a “swarm” (nurses and CNAs), like a code team response, then cohort patients into nursing assignments. We quickly get provider to bedside, finish workup, admission and triage them to final inpatient bed. We help level load across the Legacy system, take transfers from across the PNW, and support other departments at Good Sam as needed for throughput. Relocation assistance available for new nurses to Legacy! Responsibilities Provide compassionate care aligned with Legacy Health standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care. Advocate for patients with education and emotional support. Utilize electronic health systems for efficient care. Qualifications Graduation from an accredited nursing program. BSN preferred (or in progress). Minimum one year of nursing experience or completed residency. Acute care experience preferred. Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and EHR skills. Licensure Current RN license and BLS certification and ACLS within 3 months of hire. Why Legacy Good Samaritan Transfer Receiving Unit?
