Hours: Full Time (40 Hours Weekly) Day Shift This position is responsible for planning, developing, implementing educational programs that provide foundational instruction and support for their learners to become an expert in their specialty through classroom lessons, simulations, and authentic patient experiences with the support of experienced preceptors. This role works closely with Talent Acquisition and Human Resources, to create an integrated, and consistent structure for nurse onboarding and professional development and to ensure a ready supply of well-prepared nurses for hard-to-fill specialties. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (from fully accredited program) or Upon hire: Alaska Registered Nurse License Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 8 years in nursing or equivalent experience in a related field. Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in Nursing (from fully accredited program) or equivalent education/experience. Upon hire: Advanced certifications in nursing (NPD-BC) 2 years Educator experience. 1 year Leadership experience. 1 year Simulation (high-fidelity and low-fidelity) experience. 1 year Demonstrated experience and excellence in nursing education and professional development.
