JOB SUMMARY

As a Nursing Supervisor, oversee nursing staff and unit-based personnel in our clinic. Create a safe, caring environment for patients, families, and staff. Foster professional nursing practices, shared decision-making, and teamwork for positive outcomes. Assist the Nursing Manager with daily operations, policies, budgets, and quality improvement efforts. Develop educational programs for organizational goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate Degree
  • (2) Two years of relevant work experience in a health care or hospital setting is required.
  • You must be a certified (RN) Registered Nurse.
  • You need a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within (30) thirty days of starting the job.
Responsibilities
  • Create a positive work environment that promotes evidence-backed practice and research.
  • Oversee your team to deliver safe, efficient care meeting each patient’s specific needs.
  • Ensure staff stay updated and trained for patient population needs.
  • Evaluate nursing practices for quality and efficiency, improving performance, incorporating best practices and research for continuous improvement.
  • You will coordinate patient care conferences and meetings, focusing on patient and family needs. Implement compassionate care practices effectively.
  • You will advocate for nurses, patients, and families, discussing concerns and resolving ethical issues that come up.
