Description
This position requires effective education delivery and assessment of our Diploma of Nursing, Aboriginal Health Worker certificates, Aged Care and Disability Certificates and our other Health qualifications. The position will be based in Darwin but may require remote travel to deliver teaching in Aboriginal Communities in the NT. This is an amazing opportunity for the right candidate who is skilled in Nursing, interested in teaching and perhaps looking for a change. We are seeking a person who will be committed to education and if they do not hold a CIV in training and assessment will need to gain one with our support. If you are experienced then we welcome you to come and try a different way of teaching in different places across the NT. The successful candidate: shall have a minimum of 4 years workplace practise as an RN hold registration with AHPRA love education and educating, shall be an exciting, influential facilitator of education, a team player, an excellent communicator and, understand the requirements of a sales culture within a private organisation. You will be an excellent advocate for the work you are doing and build relationships well with industry and students, will have excellent IT skills, will have a CIV in Training and Assessment (or willing to gain asap) or, hold post graduate qualifications in education. can drive effectively using a 4WD and does not have an issue flying in small planes (or willing to learn) Start in 2025 but have Christmas off (we close for three weeks at Christmas every year) or start January 2026. Working the tropical north and making a difference to the lives of our students. Teaching small class groups face to face with plenty of opportunities to use creativity in your teaching. Working with a supportive team on the shared goals of our students. Above award wages. No more shift work!
