Title: RN Trauma Step-Down/PCU – Bradenton, FL Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Shifts: Days or Nights (rotating weekends) Compensation: $30.76 – $41.50/hr (based on experience) Differentials: +$4.75/hr (Nights) | +$3.00/hr (Weekends) | +$2.00/hr (National Certification) Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (Days) | $15,000 (Nights) Relocation: Up to $5,000 with approval Overview We are hiring a Trauma Step-Down/PCU RN in Bradenton, FL. This role supports a Level II Trauma Center, caring for complex trauma, cardiac, and post-surgical patients in a progressive care environment. Responsibilities Deliver safe, evidence-based care for trauma and progressive care patients. Monitor cardiac rhythms, post-op recovery, and high-acuity conditions. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes. Educate patients and families on treatment and recovery. Support unit safety and patient satisfaction initiatives. Qualifications Active Florida or Compact RN license. Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred. Current BLS (AHA or Red Cross). ACLS within 6 months of hire. Minimum 1 year RN experience (acute care preferred, LTACH/home health/rehab accepted). Compensation & Benefits Up to $15,000 sign-on bonus. Relocation assistance up to $5,000.
