Description JOB TITLE: RN WEEKEND SUPERVISOR JOB CODE: 88 DEPARTMENT: NURSING FLSA STATUS: NON-EXEMPT REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF NURSING DATE OF LAST UPDATE: 03/23/2020 JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, assist in supervising nursing services and set the standards of care to ensure a professional, skilled program of care and treatment so that each resident will receive benefit that accounts for their medical, physical, emotional and psychological needs. Fulfills policies and objectives establishing quality nursing care as set forth by the Administrator and standards of the facility. Supports and practices the philosophy, objectives and standards of Caraday Healthcare and the Nursing Department, and directs the revision of these as necessary to ensure quality of care to all residents. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: ? Complete the daily list to ensure policy and procedures are being followed on a daily basis for the unit supervised ? Ensure attending physicians are given support by nursing personnel ? Understand and adhere to the guidelines of “Residents Rights” and assure resident safety Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: Required ? Current RN license ? CPR certified required; 30 days will be given to complete a course and get certified ? Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal or written instructions in English ? Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner ?
