Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The research post will contribute to an exciting vaccinology and formulation project on RNA vaccines. In particular the post will implement ELISpot, ELISA, qPCR and multicolour flow cytometry techniques to assess the immune response to vaccination. Central to the success of the post will be the analysis and integration of data resulting from these experiments and working closely with research partners.

WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING

RNA vaccines offer incredible scope for preventing and treating disease. One exciting aspect is small scale local manufacture, overcoming issues of access and distribution. In this project you will test RNA vaccines generated on an extremely exciting small scale manufacturing system. This will also contribute to the green economy through more sustainable manufacturing practices.
