QUALIFICATIONS: RNA

• Must be a graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program, or be eligible to enter such a program, graduate and pass a State improved competency evaluation within the next 120 days from the date of employment.
• Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
• Must be able to see and hear, or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to assure the requirements of this position can be fully met.
• Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel and support agencies.
• Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability.
• Must be able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset people within the facility.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds frequently throughout the day.

• Be able to change computer papers and update worksheets as needed. Update worksheets, dining room schedules and all papers which apply to Restorative Level II and III prn. May transport residents to and from dining areas. May pass trays and set up trays as indicated. May document meal percentages for restorative dining. Able to use or trained to use computer. Report pertinent resident information to RNP Coordinator. Ability to implement and carry out all RNP programs as referred.
