Description Job Title: Process Tech III / Tote Sanitation Reports To: Department Supervisor FLSA Status: Hourly Non-Exempt 2nd Shift Hours: 1:45pm-10:15pm Overtime required based on production need. Pay: $19.50/hour Summary Operates mixing machine to blend ingredients into compounds for processing and ensures totes, drums, and pallets are cleaned and sanitized by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Verifies ingredients prior to mixing batches. • Loads ingredients into mixing tank and/or blender. • Starts machine and adjusts valves and devices in mixing chamber to aid in blending and densifying mixture. • Verifies the In-Process Spec sheet and production paperwork is being followed. • Uses tablet to ensure production goals are successfully being met. • Operates machine until mixture reaches desired consistency, and turns lever or pushes button to unload mixture into kettles, pick system, totes, drums, and/or hoppers. • Cleans and sanitizes mixing tanks, kettles, pick system, pumps, pipes, blender, and/or hopper. • Performs job duties of the Total Quality Lead and other Process Techs in their absence. • Cleans and sanitizes totes, drums, and blue pallets. • Removes all standing water from the rooms using a squeegee or other available cleaning tool. • Cleans designated work areas. • Assists with tote and pallet repairs.
