We are working with an established Freight Forwarder who are looking for a Road / Air Freight Import Clerk.
The role is too oversea and run the Road Freight Import area and supporting the Air Import department.

Role Involves:

  • Good Start to Finish Road/ Air Import experience.
  • Good Customs/ CDS experience.
  • Being the lead on the product mailbox, ensuring all enquiries are dealt with and responded to in a timely and professional manner. (This can, during busy periods generate a lot of mail traffic so the individual needs to be very organised and know there way round the latest Outlook).
  • Ensuring the Brokerage requirements are completed in accordance with what is required and complaint with HMRC rules and regulations.
  • Regular and clear updates with partners and customers.
  • Following up every shipment through to POD confirmation, passing that on, along with our Debit note to the party responsible for the charging.

Experience needed.

  • Start to Finish experience in both Road/Air Imports
  • Import entries experience, Sourcing Commodity Codes and understanding CPC Codes essential.
  • Good CDS experience.
  • Happy to run the Road Imports and Support with Air Imports.
  • Incoterms knowledge is necessary.
  • Good organisation skills and good knowledge of the new outlook.

Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm
Salary depends on experience.
