THE OPPORTUNITY

Qube Grains are seeking a dedicated Road Logistics Coordinator to join the team.
This role focuses on engaging with trucking sub-contractors and negotiating competitive freight rates for bulk grain transportation from farms or third-party sources to Qube sites and port terminals.
This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Qube Contractor Management Systems, Legislation and Company Standards, and serve as a liaison between growers, sub-contractors and internal teams.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE THAT YOU POSSESS:

  • Previous experience in road freight coordination, or a similar role, preferably in the agricultural or grains industry.
  • Agtech preferrable but not essential
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills, with road transport companies.
  • Excellent time management abilities and capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with data management software or ERP systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new processes and systems.
