SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated Shop Technician to join our team at Easy-Kleen. In this role, you will be responsible to diagnose, repair, and maintain high-pressure cleaning equipment both in the shop and at customer locations. This dual-role position requires mechanical expertise, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service and support.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven mechanical repair experience, preferably with pressure washers or similar equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage time effectively
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in a variety of environments
  • Willingness to travel within the service area and work flexible hours as needed
Responsibilities
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair high-pressure cleaning equipment in both field and shop environments
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems accurately and efficiently
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on various models of pressure washers
  • Travel to customer sites for equipment installations, service calls, and emergency repairs
  • Test and verify repairs to ensure equipment meets performance and safety standards
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding issues, repairs completed, and maintenance best practices
  • Maintain accurate service records, including work orders, time logs, and parts used
  • Keep the service vehicle and/or workspace clean, organized, and stocked with tools and parts
  • Provide technical support to customers and assist with troubleshooting when needed
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and site-specific safety protocols
  • Collaborate with the Service Manager to report recurring equipment issues and customer concerns
  • Support shop operations when not assigned to road service calls
