Job Description The Road Worker/Driver is responsible repairing and maintaining of roads and buildings; assigned in driving the maintenance truck 1. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Assigned in driving the maintenance truck Responsible for regular walk through inspection of the complete MCX road network; Proactively reports any defects observed on the road and within MCX facilities; Responsible for maintaining the MCX roads (main carriageway, access ramps, holding area, parking lots, etc.), furniture, landscape and structure as per maintenance plan and manual; Install traffic signage and facilitate traffic management during road works and events on the carriageway; Responsible for clearing accident sites (debris, spillages); Responsible for repairing pot holes, damaged road surfaces, slopes, earthworks, signs and guard rails; Responsible for repairing or replacing traffic equipment (signs, guardrails, lamp posts). Responsible for building (i.e. TOB/ Toll Plaza) repairs and maintenance: painting works, masonry, carpentry, plumbing, steel works, roofing and electro-mechanical works; Responsible for cleaning (road, drainage, tunnel walls), tree pruning, grass cutting and gardening/landscaping; Assist and support the other technicians in their task (Electrical, Electro-Mechanical, Civil and IT works); Member of Quick Response Team during emergency situations The road workers are expected to perform other maintenance duties – not listed above - as may be assigned from time to time by the management. The road worker is expected to strictly follow safety procedure implemented by the company Qualifications JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Candidate must possess at least High School Diploma, Vocational Diploma/ Short Course Certificate At least 1-3 years’ experience in the related field Required skills: grass cutting, masonry, carpentry, steel works, road works, maintenance NCII Certificate is an advantage Willing to work in shifting schedule including holidays Willing to be assign in MCX (Muntinlupa Cavite Expressway) Business Line: Consulting and Operations Type of contract: Permanent contract Service Line: OnM Operations Region: OLD Americas and Pacific Job Family: Assistant and Administration
