Join us as Roadmarking Operator in the Canterbury Region! We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our Roadmarking team in Canterbury as an operator. In this role you will be responsible for for a variety of work in and around the Canterbury region, including new installation to remarking on projects, maintenance contracts and reseal sites as well as a variety of specialist surfacing tasks, all whilst managing your own applicator, site and crew. In addition to the above you will: Always ensure adherence to Health & Safety policies and procedures. Operate Roadmarking machinery in a professional manner. Monitor paint application rates to ensure they are being applied within specification. Ensure your work site complies with the appropriate traffic management requirements. We’re looking for someone with: Full clean class 1 licence (Class 2 preferred but not essential) Previous experience with installation and or remarking of road markings is advantageous (we can help you get up to scratch!) An understanding of site traffic management requirements (STMS Cat A/B qualifications preferred) A proactive approach to Health and Safety – it’s our #1 priority! Flexibility to work away from home and on shift as required. Self-motivation skills and the ability to work autonomously, as well as in large team environments. The ability to take Initiative and effectively plan your day. A positive attitude and excellent work ethic with a willingness to learn and upskill. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise in a face-paced environment. Capability to perform physically demanding tasks. Dangerous Goods and Forklift Endorsements are advantageous.
