Weston Recovery Services are a family business based in the South West of England. Our head office is based in Weston-super-Mare, with another site in Wellington, Somerset.
We offer services to the large motoring organisations such as The AA and the RAC. We attend broken down vehicles and attempt roadside fixes or recover them to their destination. Some of this work involves accident recovery work.
This job is an exciting opportunity, as no one day is the same. Its a fast paced industry with a mixture of local and distance work, different customers and different vehicles in different scenarios.
We are looking for people with a valid B+E driving licence, with less than 6 penalty points. You must hold a recognised mechanical qualification such as City and Guilds, IMI or similar and have mechanical experience. This role will involve you operating from our equipped service van, carrying out roadside repairs primarily but if you are unable to repair the vehicle you may need to recover it using the inbuilt equipment.
This position is based on a 5 on 3 off work pattern, working either 7am to 4pm or 4pm to 1am. Please advise on your application which time pattern you are applying for.
Full training and PPE will be provided.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 42 per week
