Compensation (Flat-Rate: Hourly): $16.00 - 25.00 + / hour Job Description Summary: The Roadside Technician will be responsible for responding to service calls and providing on-site automotive support to customers experiencing vehicle issues. This includes tasks such as jump starts, tire changes, fluid top-offs, battery testing, and basic inspections. Duties and Responsibilities: Respond to roadside assistance calls in a timely and professional manner Perform essential services such as jump starts, tire changes, lockouts, fluid top-offs, and battery testing Conduct basic vehicle checks and inspections, reporting any major concerns to the Service Advisor Keep service equipment and vehicle in clean, working condition Follow proper procedures for safe vehicle handling and roadside operations Communicate clearly with customers and teammates to ensure seamless service Maintain accurate service records and documentation for each job Use tools and materials efficiently to avoid unnecessary waste Follow all company safety policies and immediately report any incidents Qualifications Prior experience in automotive maintenance or roadside assistance Strong mechanical aptitude and a problem-solving mindset Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings if needed Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently in outdoor conditions Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Must be authorized to work in the USA Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug test, and MVR screening Additional Information Compensation (Hourly: Flat-Rate): $16.00 - $25.00 + / hour Based on experience, certifications, and skill level Tenure Bonus Program*: Starting at 6 months, earn up to $3.50/hour on every flat-rate hour turned Bonus increases with tenure and is paid annually Schedule: FULL-TIME Sundays Always Off Saturday Availability Required Perks & Benefits: Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance $0 Monthly Premium for Technicians after 12 months** Reduced Rates for Dependent Coverage** 401(k) with Company Match Paid Time Off that Increases with Tenure Closed on Thanksgiving & Christmas Employee Pricing on Vehicles, Parts & Service Free & Discounted Gym Membership Options Exclusive Travel Discounts on Hotels, Flights & Rentals OEM Certification & Paid Manufacturer Training Opportunities Career Growth within a Fortune 500 Company *Tenure bonus eligibility begins after 6 months. **Coverage begins at hire; premium-free medical starts after 1 year of service.
