We are looking for a talented Civil Engineer to join our growing Roadway/Highway design team in the Kansas City region. The ideal candidate for this role will be an EIT with experience working on local agency and/or DOT roadway design projects. We provide multi-disciplined services for a variety of public agencies and private entities, including transportation design; water resources design; environmental analysis & permitting; construction engineering & inspection; traffic engineering & transportation planning; surveying; and land acquisition & appraisal. Our Roadway/Highway Design team is involved in a wide variety of street, roadway, highway and multi-modal transportation design projects for local public agencies and state DOT’s.

Responsibilities
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field from an ABET accredited civil engineering program.
  • Passed FE/EI exam
  • 3+ years of relevant roadway design engineering experience
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
  • Strong understanding of design principles and standards
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team
