Position summary: An intern supports the assigned design department by assisting with a variety of tasks, including special project assignments and active participation in project design and documentation, to gain practical experience and support their educational development. Immigration sponsorship or support (e.g. H1B, F-1 CPT/OPT/STEM OPT) is not available for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification.  Essential Functions and Responsibilities * Assist senior or lead Engineer or Project Manager with basic design tasks, including research, simple studies, and layout support. * Help prepare drawings and documents for programming, schematic design, modeling, graphics, design development, and construction phases. * Support the creation of presentation and marketing materials. * Assist with construction phase activities, including participating in site visits, supporting RFI responses, reviewing shop drawings, and helping update record drawings. * Follow established quality control procedures and ask questions as needed. * Learn and apply department and company standards and best practices. * Develop basic design, analysis, and technical skills through hands-on experience.  ‑on experience * Participate in team meetings and collaborate with team members. * Receive guidance and direction from supervisors and team leaders. * Collaborate with architects, engineers, interior designers, and other multidisciplinary team members.
