OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rotating Equipment Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of various rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, turbines, and gearboxes. You will work closely with our employees and customers to ensure the reliability and efficiency of the equipment repair.

SKILLS

• Certification in rotating equipment or maintenance management (e.g., API, SKF, etc.).
• Proficiency in CAD software for designing equipment layouts and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Experience with vibration analysis, alignment, and balancing of rotating machinery.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
• Familiarity with industry standards and codes such as API, ASME, ANSI, and ISO.
• Experience with troubleshooting and maintenance in critical industrial environments.

  Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

• Provide technical expertise on the repair of rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, motors, and gearboxes.
• Conduct thorough testing and analysis of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Develop a work scope for equipment repair to meet both HDS’ and customers requirements.
• Develop welding procedures for any repairs associated with the rotating equipment.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in quantum engineering to incorporate innovative practices into equipment design.
• Provide technical support during the repair of the equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the engineering process.
• Conduct performance analysis and troubleshooting of rotating machinery repairs to identify areas for improvement and efficiency optimization.
• Prepare detailed reports, including equipment performance assessments, failure analysis, and recommendations for corrective actions.
• Support root cause analysis (RCA) and failure investigations, providing expert input on mechanical and operational issues.
• Review and approve technical documentation related to rotating equipment including drawings and service reports.
• Participate in the preparation of budgets, cost control, and scheduling for rotating equipment-related activities.
