As our Roblox Platform Developer, you’ll be at the forefront of creating engaging experiences within the Roblox ecosystem. You’ll drive the development of games and content while staying ahead of platform trends and emerging formats. Working closely with our design and content teams, you’ll be responsible for bringing creative visions to life through code and technical implementation. On a typical day, your tasks may include:

• Developing and maintaining Roblox games using Lua scripting and Roblox Studio
• Implementing new gameplay mechanics, features, and content updates based on trending formats
• Collaborating with designers and artists to optimize user experience and performance
• Using Roblox analytics and internal tools to track game performance and player engagement
• Researching and experimenting with new Roblox features, APIs, and development tools
• Monitoring the Roblox platform for emerging trends, successful game formats, and community preferences
• Building and maintaining game economies, monetization systems, and user progression mechanics
• Troubleshooting technical issues and implementing performance optimizations across multiple experiences
