Description

Keltech is now looking for Robotic Weld Operators to join our team.
Robot Weld Operators are responsible for welding parts together using a robotic welder and programming the robots to weld the parts in the correct sequence. The candidate will also be responsible for quality control, making sure that the parts are welded correctly and meet the specifications. This is a fast paced manufacturing role, where the ability to weld quickly and accurately is essential. The Robotic Weld Operator will work independently and responsible for troubleshooting of any problems which arise.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Previous experience programming welding robot(s)
  • Previous experience with robotic welding systems
  • Previous experience with MIG and TIG Welding
  • Working knowledge of welding tools and equipment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • CNC experience desirable

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a manufacturing company desirable
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential
Responsibilities
  • Operate welding robots in accordance with company safety guidelines and standard operating procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to 5S principles
  • Perform regular maintenance and calibration on welding equipment and robots
  • Load and unload parts onto welding fixtures, ensuring proper part orientation
  • Monitor robotic welding process and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality welds are produced
  • Inspect completed welds for defects and perform rework as necessary
  • Communicate with other members of the team to coordinate workflow and avoid potential hazards
