Summit Truck Bodies is looking for a Robotic Programmer to monitor robots throughout the manufacturing process and ensure quality and function. Program robot pathways and application controls on computer and at robotic cell. Engages equipment and observes applications. Ability to start robotic cell and observe operation. Resolve repetitive quality defects through investigation and corrective action. Conduct software updates and calibrations. Perform routine preventative maintenance on robots. Provide corrective action to robot faults. Demonstrates responsibility for safety, quality and production. Maintain all required records. Follow all safety procedures. Other duties as assigned. Requirements WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES: Frequent mobility and / or sitting, standing, bending or stooping for prolonged / extended periods. Requires lifting up to 50 pounds frequently. Requires stretching to reach items up to 50 pounds. Requires working in areas which are not ventilated or air-conditioned. Requires eye-hand coordination sufficient to operate machinery. Requires exposure to chemicals and solvents. Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours. Requires working in a fast-paced environment Requires a normal range of hearing and vision Must understand vague and implicit instructions and react favorably in all work situations Must be able to communicate providing verbal feedback in a professional manner REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: High School diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with good standing MVR. 1 year of experience in robotic programming or related role preferred. Excellent creativity, problem solving, and analytical skills. Ability to utilize a computer with basic software skills. Ability to successfully pass a General Abilities Assessment and Post-offer background check, physical and drug screening. #STE
