REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Medical Technology, Healthcare Management, or a related field
  • Fluent in English and Italian (additional languages are a plus, especially Portuguese, Spanish, German or French)
  • Eager to learn and passionate about medical technology and surgical innovation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a hospital environment and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude in tackling challenges
  • Willingness to travel across your country and potentially within Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) (up to 75% travel)
  • Ability to work in a structured, detail-oriented way, with a focus on patient safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Partner and engage with hospital teams and support them in setting goals for the successful adoption of the Hugo™ RAS System
  • Assist in organizing and attending meetings with key hospital stakeholders to track progress and ensure smooth implementation
  • Support the coordination of surgeon training programs, including scheduling off-site training sessions and arranging for expert guidance during their initial cases
  • Help develop training plans for hospital staff, ensuring they receive the necessary education and hands-on support to confidently use the robotic system
  • Gain hands-on experience by observing and assisting during robotic-assisted surgeries, supporting surgeons and staff as they become comfortable with the technology
  • Work alongside Medtronic field service engineers (FSEs) and hospital teams to prepare operating rooms for robotic surgery
  • Track key project milestones and document the impact of the surgical robotics program.
