Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Robotic Welder Operator to set up, operate, and maintain robotic welding equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with automated welding systems, an eye for quality, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certification in welding or robotics preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience operating robotic welding equipment in a manufacturing
  • environment.
  • Familiarity with robotic systems such as Fanuc, ABB, Yaskawa, or equivalent.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use welding gauges, calipers, and other inspection tools.
  • Basic understanding of welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, spot welding).
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to work overtime or alternate shifts as needed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.
  • Exposure to noise, heat, and welding fumes in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities
  • Operate robotic welding machines to fabricate parts and assemblies according to production specifications.
  • Set up welding robots by loading programs, adjusting parameters, and preparing fixtures and materials.
  • Inspect welds for quality using visual and measuring tools; ensure conformity to
  • specifications and standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on robotic welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor machine cycles and part flow to maintain efficient operation and meet production quotas.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
  • Communicate and coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and team members to resolve production issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
