Lake Air Products is a fast-growing company proud to live by our Core Values: Customer Focus, Passion for Performance, and Right People - Best Teams.  We are experiencing fast growth and are currently hiring a 1st Robotic Welder Operator or Welder C to join our team in Vadnais Heights, MN.  If you have programming/automation experience, this could be an excellent opportunity for you to join one of the leading companies in the stamping and fabrication industry.    Lake Air Products Offers:  * Competitive wages * Complete benefits package (Medical, Dental, LTD, and 401K) * Paid Time Off (PTO) and Holiday Pay  * Gym Reimbursement  * Tuition reimbursement   Responsibilities * Program and set-up the fixtures to hold metal components for assembling structural forms, using knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and engineering requirements. * Participate in fixture design to facilitate productive and flexible welding of production parts. * Develop templates or tooling to hold and align parts; install fixtures for holding metal parts, torch, or arc welding equipment.  * Observe tests on welded surfaces, such as hydrostatic, x-ray, and dimension tolerance to evaluate weld quality and conformance to specifications.  * Clamping, holding, tack-welding, heat-bending, bolting, or grinding spare parts as necessary to satisfy the technical requirements and create a welded final product, * Control the processes of fitting, burning, and welding to avoid problems in relation to overheating, distortion, expansion or shrinking of spare parts, * Audits the quality requirements and is capable of reworking or completing missing welds after the robotic process. Qualifications * 1-2 years programming experience preferred * In-depth knowledge of robotics and welding preferred * Quickly and efficiently completing jobs with very few rejects due to cosmetics * Ability to weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. * Reading blueprints and performing all necessary measurements * Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.  
Responsibilities
The operator will program and set up robotic welding fixtures to assemble metal components according to engineering requirements. They are also responsible for auditing weld quality and performing manual rework or finishing tasks as needed.
