Requirements OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY: Position is responsible for welding assemblies on welding robot, loading and unloading assemblies into the robot, and maintaining the quality of the weld throughout the production day manner that is aligned with the Fulton values and Operating philosophy. The Technician is also responsible for maintaining programs as needed, and creating new programs as required. ACCOUNTABILITIES: Load and unload assemblies into robot. Operate a robot (preferentially a Fanuc), including calling up programs, maintaining tooling. Maintain welding equipment, consumables on wire feeders, torch, gases, etc. Maintain the quality of welds within the acceptable parameters throughout production shift. Maintain and follow a production schedule to deliver parts on time. Document work and results as specified. Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain a safe and clean working area. QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications and Required Experience): Familiarity with Robotic Operation (experience with a Fanuc a plus) Familiarity with Programming robots (using software) from solid model assemblies and drawings, and editing programs as needed. Possess good mechanical aptitude Ability to read mechanical drawings Ability to work independently with minimal supervision DEMONSTRATED CRITICAL COMPETENCIES: Initiative - Identifying what needs to be done and doing it before being asked or before the situation requires it. Noise - The worker is subject to noise on a regular basis and shouting may be required to be heard above noise level and hearing protection. Repetitive Motion - Substantial movement/motion of the wrists, hands and or fingers. Vision – Visual acuity is required to operate mechanical or skilled trades.

Responsibilities

The Robotic Welding Technician is responsible for welding assemblies on a welding robot, loading and unloading assemblies, and maintaining the quality of the weld throughout the production day. Additionally, the technician will maintain and create programs as required.
