About the Role

We’re looking for an energetic, engaging Robotics & Coding Instructor to teach after‑school and weekend classes, support school workshops, camps, and guide students through hands‑on STEM learning.

What You’ll Do

  • Teach robotics and coding classes for students from grades 1 to 12
  • Deliver curriculum using LEGO Robotics, Scratch, Python, Java, C#, and other beginner‑friendly languages
  • Create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
  • Support students with problem‑solving, debugging, and hands‑on building
  • Track student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
  • Lead STEM activities during PA Day, March Break, and summer camps
  • Participate in school workshops when scheduled

Qualifications

  • Experience teaching or mentoring youth (teaching, tutoring, coaching, camps, clubs)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage diverse student personalities
  • Comfort guiding students through problem‑solving and hands‑on building
  • Familiarity with robotics platforms such as VEX V5 and/or LEGO Robotics
  • Knowledge of Scratch, Python, Java, C#, and other beginner‑friendly languages
  • Upbeat, energetic, and able to inspire and lead students
  • Good listener with strong interpersonal skills
  • Organized, reliable, and able to run structured, engaging classes
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Pre‑employment background check required (no cost)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Minecraft Education, Roblox Studio, HTML, JavaScript, or Unity
  • Background in STEM clubs, engineering teams, or youth programs
  • Basic familiarity with sensors, mechanisms, or robotics building tools
