Since its founding in 2015, 1X has been at the forefront of developing advanced humanoid robots designed for household use. Our mission is to create an abundant supply of labor via safe, intelligent humanoids.
We strive for excellence in all we do, solving some of the hardest problems in robotics with the world’s most talented individuals. Every part of our robots is designed and produced in-house—from motor coils to AI—reflecting our vertically integrated approach. At 1X, you’ll own real projects, be recognized for your achievements, and rewarded based on merit.
We believe the best work is done when collaborating and therefore require in-person presence in our office locations.
We are seeking a skilled Robotics/Remanufacturing Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and remanufacturing key robot assemblies, while ensuring optimal performance and reliability. You will also spend time assembling and developing documentation for prototype builds as needed. You will work with complex mechanical and electrical systems, applying critical thinking and technical expertise to troubleshoot known and emerging issues. As a key contributor, you will collaborate closely with our manufacturing, engineering, and service teams to enhance processes, improve reliability, and refine design for better serviceability. Your role will also include maintaining detailed records of repairs, contributing to documentation, and ensuring workshop tools are well-maintained.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with PCBA debugging and repair.
Familiarity with semi-automated manufacturing equipment.
Experience writing assembly instructions
Experience with Odoo and Jira is a plus
Knowledge of reliability testing and predictive maintenance methodologies.
Familiarity with CAD software and work instructions for assembly repairs or modifications.
If you have a passion for robotics and remanufacturing, enjoy tackling complex challenges, and want to be part of a collaborative team driving continuous improvement—we’d love to hear from you!
