Introduction: We are seeking an experienced and highly technical Robotics Software Engineer to lead our embedded software team at 10Beauty. This is a leadership opportunity where you will guide a critical engineering function, while driving the technical evolution of a groundbreaking robotic product. Your background in robotics will be crucial to our success as we move from product launch to fleet scaling! What You'll Do Lead, mentor, and grow a team of embedded software engineers (from junior to senior levels) while taking on a player/coach dynamic Own the long-term technical architecture and roadmap for the embedded firmware and control software. Ensure all designs meet strict requirements for real-time performance, reliability, security, and scalability Serve as the primary liaison between the embedded team and other departments (Computer Vision, Mechanical, DevOps, Cloud). Translate high-level product features into actionable, well-defined technical specifications and project plans Lead the planning and execution of large, complex embedded projects (Major firmware updates, OTA’s, motion control system upgrades, etc) across sprints Drive the adoption of best practices for embedded software development, including code review processes, automated testing, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) for firmware, and system monitoring What You Have 7+ years of total experience in embedded software engineering, with at least 2 years in a formal management role overseeing direct reports Player/Coach Mentality A proven background in robotics and embedded software. Experience with motion control systems and computer vision integration is highly preferred Deep expertise in developing production code in C/C++ in a resource-constrained environment, ideally on Linux or an RTOS At 10Beauty, we consider a wide-range of factors when determining compensation, based on individual qualifications, skills, and experience.
