Position Summary: The position involves prioritizing tasks related to welding troubleshooting, robot programming and maintenance, and continuous process improvements, ensuring operational safety and quality standards. Key responsibilities include conducting performing predictive maintenance on weld equipment, troubleshooting automation issues, and fostering good relationships with vendors and team members.

• High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED)
• Obtained Associate’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent in addition to a minimum three years experience; OR minimum of five years previous work experience with robotics and automation in addition to obtaining certification in Fanuc/Yaskawa robotics
• Basic understanding of PLCs, electrical, and mechanical systems, with the ability to replace sensors and cables, airlines, and fittings
• Experience in the following areas: laser cutting, spot welding, MIG welding, Vision systems, CNC, laser welding and Dispense software
• Experience in Spot tool, True control, Laser mech, Fanuc 3dl vision, and Medar software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Applications (e.g. word, excel, outlook, etc)
