We are currently hiring for a Rochester Office Operations & Safety Coordinator. As a Office Operations & Safety Coordinator at Venture Forthe, you will serve as the welcoming and professional first point of contact for the organization. Environment: Office-based Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm What You Will Do Serve as the first point of contact by welcoming visitors, staff, and vendors while managing phone, email, and in-person inquiries Monitor building access and visitor sign-in procedures to maintain a secure and professional environment Oversee front office organization, supply inventory, and general administrative support Coordinate with leadership and operations staff regarding facility needs, maintenance issues, and safety concerns Lead the organization’s Safety Committee, supporting policy development and cross-department safety initiatives Maintain awareness of building activity and respond calmly to disruptions or conflicts using de-escalation techniques Escalate concerns when appropriate and ensure incidents are properly documented and reported Promote a culture of safety, respect, and professionalism throughout the workplace PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: ? Moderate to Heavy Work: Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 75lbs. Sitting, standing, and walking required.
