Howitt Construction is a busy earthmoving company based out of Red Deer. We’re looking for experienced local  labourer/rock truck operators for a site grading project west of Innisfail, AB at Dickson Dam. There is a component of labour work when required. Start date is Aug 19.
Candidates should be able to perform all the skills in the Scope of Work, and work in a safe manner following all policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 months rock truck experience,
• Operate machine safely, & place loads where directed,
• Maintain consistent distance when pulling up to excavator,
• Complete walk arounds,
• Fuel and grease own machine,
• Shovel/rake material when required.

PPE Requirements

• Steel toed boots,
• High visibility safety vest,
• Safety glasses,
• Hard hat & gloves.

Work Details

• 7 days a week, 7am to 6pm - 11 hr shifts,
• Long weekends off (4 days),
• Provide own transportation to and from work site,
• Must have valid WHMIS ticket.
