We are currently looking to fill the position of: Rock Truck Operator:
In our fleet, we have 40-45 tonne trucks.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven Experience: At least 2 years of experience driving haul trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles on construction sites. You know the ropes when it comes to maneuvering large trucks around busy sites, dealing with tight spaces, and keeping the project on track.
  • Site Navigation Expert: Whether it’s hauling materials from excavation zones or delivering supplies to various parts of the site, you’re comfortable driving in all conditions. You know how to navigate uneven terrain, tight corners, and busy areas without a second thought.
  • Safety Focused: Safety isn’t just a checklist for you—it’s a mindset. You know how to conduct pre-trip inspections, follow site-specific safety procedures, and keep everything and everyone safe, from the materials to the workers.
  • Don’t Hit the Stakes: You’ve got an eagle eye for avoiding those crucial survey stakes. You know how important it is to keep them intact to prevent project delays and costly mistakes.
  • Smooth Operations: You’re all about maintaining a smooth flow of materials across the site. From hauling dirt to gravel, you keep things moving without unnecessary downtime and make sure every load is dropped at the right spot.
  • Physical Stamina: Hauling materials on-site can be a demanding task, so you’ve got the strength and endurance to tackle long shifts, tough terrain, and all sorts of weather conditions.
  • Effective Communication: Whether you’re chatting with your crew or coordinating with other operators, you’re a pro at keeping the lines of communication open. You know how to work as part of a team to ensure everything runs like clockwork.
