BTO Contracting is recruiting for the role of Rock Truck Driver/Packer Operator for a project in Ryley, Ab Landfill Job.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possess 1+ experience.
• Must pass a competency test on specified equipment.
• Experience operating in mountainous terrain considered an asset.
• Experience operating different heavy equipment is considered an asset.
• Personal vehicle and valid driver’s license are required.
• Dress appropriately for all weather conditions.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Capable of physical Labour.
• Must provide CSA approved steeled toed safety boots above ankle height.

This position will be responsible for the following duties but not limited to:

• Operate 40t Articulating Truck and support in civil landfill construction activities such as: backfilling, road surfacing, waste hauling.
• Follow directions from foreman.
• Operate and maintain equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Carry out minor maintenance and inspection for equipment and reporting any deficiencies.
• Ability to work as a team and take direction.
• Perform other related duties as required.
