Description

Shifts: Monday to Friday from 6am-3pm or Monday to Thursday from 3pm-1:30am
Work Location: Brampton (Sandalwood Pkwy and McLaughlin Rd area)

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience operating roll forming or similar industrial machinery
  • Prior experience in the steel, fabrication, or manufacturing industry is an asset
  • Proficient in using hand tools such as tin snips, tape measures and calipers
  • Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes
  • Strong attributes including integrity, attention to detail, reliability, and a positive team-orientated attitude
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and take imitative to improve processes
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Must be able to lift heavy material up to 50lbs

    Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Set up machines for processing various coil sizes
  • Secure coils by tightening uncoilers and safely cutting shipping straps
  • Knowledge and experience in the manipulation of Roll forming line to enhance the product profiles and speed of manufacture
  • Set up, adjust, and maintain rollers; perform quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications
  • Bundle finished products, apply strapping securely, load onto wagons, and affix correct identification labels
  • Complete all required production and safety documentation accurately and submit to the Supervisor
  • Other duties assigned by the supervisor
