JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roll Off Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating roll-off trucks and transporting waste materials to designated locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle heavy equipment efficiently. The Roll Off Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our operations.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with roll-off trucks or similar heavy vehicles.
  • Familiarity with freight operations and logistics is a plus.
  • Experience in heavy equipment operation is highly desirable.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive repair techniques is beneficial for maintaining vehicle performance.

Responsibilities
  • Operate roll-off trucks safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
  • Load and unload containers at various job sites, ensuring proper handling of materials.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and any incidents that occur during transport.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding schedules and any issues that arise.
  • Assist with basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.
  • Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment as required for loading and unloading tasks.
