Description Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Roll-Off Driver to join our team in Lakeland, FL. This role is responsible for safely operating roll-off trucks to deliver, empty, and pick up containers at commercial and residential customer sites. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy-duty vehicles, strong attention to safety and DOT regulations, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Essential Job Functions: Safely operate a roll-off truck to transport and pick up containers. Secure containers using cables or hooks and operate control levers to load containers onto truck beds. Properly tarp containers and secure loads as required. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections according to DOT and company standards. Maintain accurate daily vehicle inspection reports (DVIR). Operate compaction and lift equipment on the vehicle. Keep the truck clean and in good working condition, checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and general mechanical health. Communicate with customers courteously and professionally, answering basic questions and directing inquiries to the Customer Service or Sales team. Ensure all DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies are followed at all times. Maintain accurate service records and documentation. Requirements Class A/ B CDL (valid in the state of Florida). Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience Roll-off experience preferred Must be at least 21 years of age. Clean driving record and ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. Must be able to read, write, and speak English well enough to communicate with dispatch, customers, and team members. Working knowledge of DOT regulations and commercial vehicle laws. Ability to hear within normal range (with or without correction) and see within normal range (with or without correction).
