ROLLER SHUTTER SERVICE ENGINEER

Pressford Shutters & Shopfronts Ltd, a trusted family-run business established in 1988, is seeking an experienced Roller Shutter Service Engineer to join our growing team. We specialise in the manufacture, installation, and maintenance of roller shutters, sectional doors, dock levellers, and high-speed doors for commercial and industrial clients across the UK & Ireland

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in servicing roller shutters, industrial doors, or similar equipment.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to complete accurate and detailed service reports.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• IPAF, CSCS/ECS, or equivalent qualifications desirable but not essential.

• Service and maintain a range of products including roller shutters, sectional doors, dock levellers, and high-speed doors.
• Complete detailed service paperwork, ensuring all safety-critical elements are thoroughly inspected and recorded.
• Identify and report any defects or compliance issues, providing recommendations for remedial work.
• Liaise professionally with clients on-site, offering clear communication and excellent customer service.
• Work both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality, safe, and efficient service work.
• Outside of servicing there will also be light repairs, attending site on a first visit basis to either repair or inspect what work needs to be carried out. Other one person jobs such as tuning in fobs, fitting key switches, wiring in remotes etc will be part of the job responsibilities
