Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm, Friday 7:30am to 1:30pm - additional hours as may be required.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

Ability to roll independently and as part of a team.
Experience working in the manufacturing industry.
Experience handling steel sections.
Good knowledge of factory health and safety.
Good attention to detail.
Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues.

THE ROLE:

We are currently looking to recruit a Rolling Machine Operative to join our busy workshops in Chesterton, Newcastle under Lyme.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Understand and interpret engineering drawings and sketches.
Correctly identify and select materials.
Roll and bend CHS and SHS lengths to the specification provided.
Work accurately and efficiently to produce parts to a high standard.
Safe use of rolling equipment, overhead cranes, chains, and slings.
Meet production and quality targets.
