ROLLING STOCK SHIFT SUPERVISOR – SHEFFIELD

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a leading engineering business to recruit an Rolling Stock Shift Supervisor based in Sheffield.
Salary: £56,500
Shifts:
Week 1 – Tues, Weds, Thurs (Mornings), Fri, Sat and Sun (Nights)
Week 2 – Mon (Nights), Fri, Sat and Sun (Mornings)
Week 3 – Mon (Mornings), Tues, Weds and Thurs (Nights)
Week 4 – Tues, Weds, Thurs (Mornings) Fri, Sat and Sun (Afters)
Week 5 – Mon (Afters), Fri, Sat and Sun (Mornings)
Week 6 – Mon (Mornings), Tues, Weds and Thurs (Afters)
14 mornings – 6am-2pm
7 afters – 1:30pm-8:30pm
7 nights – 8pm-6am
As Rolling Stock Shift Supervisor, you will lead a team of seven engineers, coordinating rolling stock maintenance to ensure vehicles are safe, reliable and available for service. This is a hands-on leadership role, well-suited to someone with supervisory experience in rail or another transportation sector such as trams, buses, lorries or cars.

• Supervise and plan daily rolling stock maintenance and repairs across allocated shifts
• Allocate resources and personnel to meet operational requirements
• Monitor work progress and manage effective handovers between shifts
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, standards and regulatory requirements
• Provide technical guidance and support to the maintenance team
• Maintain accurate shift records, defect logs and documentation
