JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our established team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and construction, with the ability to work effectively with various materials and tools. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety standards. As a Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on residential and commercial buildings.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in roofing or a related field is preferred
• Proficient in using power tools safely and effectively
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• A commitment to following safety protocols on-site
• Own transport to get to and from different sites
• Own tools
  Pay: £160.00-£200.00 per day self employed
  Hours: 8-4, Monday to Friday with some optional weekend work available
  Location of work: Surrey, Sussex and occasionally some parts of London (majority of work is local to Reigate, Redhill & Horley areas)

• Install various types of roof coverings to pitched roof areas
• Install flat roofing products such as felt, rubber and GRP
• Install cement work to ridge lines, hips, verges & valleys where required
• Perform heavy lifting and carry materials to job sites
• Work with power tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Work effectively as part of a crew
• Liaise with customers about the project when needed
• Read and interpret schematics to ensure proper installation techniques
• Fabricate roofing components as needed to fit specific project requirements
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment
• Leadwork (desired but not essential)
