JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various construction techniques and be proficient in using both hand and power tools. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret schematics to ensure high-quality workmanship in all projects.

EXPERIENCE

Candidates should have experience in the following areas:

• Carpentry techniques and practices.
• Proficiency with hand tools such as chisels, saws, hammers, and drills.
• Familiarity with power tools including routers, sanders, and nail guns.
• Basic plumbing skills for integrating fixtures into wooden structures.
• Knowledge of masonry work when required for specific projects.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: £120.00-£160.00 per day
Expected hours: 38 – 42 per week

Experience:

• Roofing: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics to determine project specifications.
• Perform welding tasks as required for specific projects.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks.
• Engage in fabrication processes to create custom woodwork or structural components.
• Conduct roofing installations and repairs as needed.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, including plumbers and masons, to complete projects efficiently.
• Lift heavy materials and equipment as necessary to complete tasks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
