Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain roofs on residential and commercial buildings
- Inspect roofs for damage and determine the best course of action for repairs
- Remove old roofing materials and properly dispose of them
- Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific areas
- Install waterproof barriers and insulation to prevent leaks
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of projects
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a roofer
- Proficient in various roofing techniques and materials
- Familiarity with different types of roofs, including shingle, tile, metal, and flat roofs
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot roofing issues
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials
