Job Overview:We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Roofer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on various structures. This role requires expertise in schematics, heavy lifting, and the use of hand tools.
Duties:- Install, repair, or replace roofs using materials such as asphalt, wood, metal, or tiles- Measure and cut materials to fit accurately- Ensure roofs are watertight and structurally sound- Perform tasks such as plumb lines, fabricate parts, masonry work, welding, and carpentry as needed- Inspect roofs for damage and make necessary repairs- Follow safety guidelines at all timesQualifications:- Proven experience in roofing and construction- Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools- Skilled in tasks such as masonry, welding, roof building, and carpentry- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship- Excellent problem-solving skills- Health and safety consciousBenefits:- Competitive salary based on experience- Opportunities for career development and advancement within the company- Training provided for new techniques or equipmentRequirements:- Full UK driving licence preferred- Ability to work at heights with proper safety equipment- Physical fitness to handle the demands of the job
