JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roofer’s Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn, ideally with experience in various construction tasks. This role involves working on roofing projects, utilising both hand and power tools, and collaborating effectively with other team members to ensure high-quality workmanship.
We are offering labour only work on a self-employed basis for the duration of a large reroofing project in South Oxfordshire from September 1st until the end of 2025, at least, with the potential to be hired on projects going forward into 2026.
Candidates must be registered, or register before commencement, for self-assessment (self-employed) and with CIS (Construction Industry Scheme).
Pay rate negotiable prior to start based on experience, and throughout the project once capabilities are proven.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in roofing or general construction is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools is an advantage.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions is essential.
• Some understanding of carpentry principles and practices.
• Capability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the workday.
