ROOFING DRAFTING TECHNICIAN

Location: Head Office – 6675 Rexwood Rd, Mississauga, ON L4V 1V1
Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time | Onsite
Anticipated Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8 am-5 pm
Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 (based on experience)
Pay Schedule: Paid bi-weekly, every second Friday
Reports To: Roofing Estimating Manager

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Roofing Drafting Technician to play a key role in developing accurate and detailed project drawings to support the successful execution of roofing projects. • Participate in project turnover meetings to review and gather scope details
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Site Supervisors to confirm materials and key technical elements
• Prepare shop drawings using CAD software and architectural documentation
• Revise drawings based on feedback from architects, engineers, and internal stakeholders
• Develop construction drawings and as-built documentation
• Support 3D modelling and BIM deliverables (Revit), as required
• Maintain communication with internal teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Attend product demos and training sessions to stay current with industry tools and methods
• Conduct periodic site visits for project visualization and coordination
• Contribute to a positive team culture within the Roofing Department
