We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating and project management, with the ability to analyze project specifications and develop accurate cost estimates. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are financially viable and completed within budget. The Estimator will collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to build comprehensive bids that reflect the project’s requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field is essential.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in estimating software such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid is preferred.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong negotiation skills to effectively communicate with vendors and subcontractors.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is a plus but not mandatory.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other documentation.
• Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid to create precise estimates and manage project data effectively.
• Collaborate with project managers to assess project scope and requirements, ensuring all aspects are covered in the estimate.
• Price materials, labor, and overhead costs accurately while considering market trends and supplier quotes.
• Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing for materials and services.
• Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and contracts for future reference.
• Review and update estimates as necessary throughout the project lifecycle to reflect changes in scope or pricing.
