JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be involved in various construction and maintenance tasks, demonstrating proficiency in a range of skills including welding, carpentry, and the use of power tools. This role requires a strong work ethic and the ability to perform heavy lifting as well as a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges on-site.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not essential.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and their safe operation.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the day.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.

• Operate hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks.
• Assist in the fabrication and installation of structures, ensuring adherence to schematics and project specifications.
• Perform roofing duties, including the installation of roofing materials and repairs.
• Engage in masonry work, including bricklaying and concrete pouring as required.
• Execute carpentry duties, including framing, and finishing work.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Assist with heavy lifting of materials and equipment as necessary.
