Cabochon Management is recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced Service Foreman. The role is based out of the client’s headquarters near Smithville, ON, with service work carried out primarily in the Hamilton area and extending from Oakville through to Niagara Falls. This is a hands-on leadership position, responsible for coordinating service work across a variety of roofing and building envelope projects. A company truck and trailer are provided for travel to job sites.
Reporting to the Service Superintendent, the Service Foreman leads and supports Service Technicians in the field. The Service Foreman will oversee day-to-day work, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality. The role requires a strong trade background, solid problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide both leadership and technical expertise.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid G-Class driver’s licence with a clean abstract
• Experience hauling and operating a truck and trailer
• Working at Heights certification (current and confident)
• Extensive trade experience with a solid understanding of multiple disciplines
• Skilled in the safe use of power tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and building envelope systems

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Service Technicians, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols
• Perform inspections, diagnose issues, and provide effective solutions for roofing and building envelope projects
• Work closely with the Service Superintendent to plan, schedule, and prioritize projects
• Collaborate with the Superintendent on estimates, providing detailed information gathered from job sites
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget
• Communicate directly with customers, delivering exceptional service and addressing any concerns
