PRIMARY FUNCTION: Rooftop Terrace Bartender DEPARTMENT: Food & Beverage REPORTS TO: Food & Beverage Manager SUMMARY: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Major areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to: * Responsible for the safe and sanitary preparation of beverage orders and ensuring that the bar area and supply of liquors, beers, wines, and other beverages is maintained. * Prepare drink orders according to customer request and recipe specifications. * Check identification of customers to verify legal age requirements. * Calculate and collect bar tabs. * Track, open and secure bottles of liquor, beer, and wine. * Set-up of bar unit, tables, chairs, and supplies. * Clean glassware and utensils. * Stock ice and glassware. * Maintain and replenish all bar beverages and supplies. * Maintain a safe and clean bar environment including monitoring customer alcohol consumption. QUALIFICATIONS: * High school diploma/GED required. * Minimum of one year of beverage service experience. * Knowledge of beverage and cocktail recipes and specifications. * Knowledge of safe food and beverage handling procedures. * Ability to lift fifty pounds. * Ability to bend and stand for extended periods of time. * Ability to operate hand tools and kitchen equipment. * Dependable work ethic with a positive attitude.
